Luxury concierge in your pocket

LUJO is a luxury lifestyle and concierge app under BAROQUE, delivering tailor-made recommendations and exclusive services worldwide, directly to your phone.

Role: Product Designer for BAROQUE, responsible for the LUJO app and website design.

01

The Challenge

BAROQUE company ( owner of Lujo App ) was known for high-touch, offline experiences.

The challenge was to translate this ultra-personal service into a seamless, premium digital product — without losing the human touch.

I needed to engage both members and new users, reduce churn, and build trust.

02

What we built

This is a collection of two major products I designed for Baroque. I’m proud to see how they came together as a unified system. In this case study, I share how we shaped the strategy and brought it to life as a team.

Person working on laptop

Lujo - The main app experience

Turned complex luxury services into a smooth, inspiring mobile experience, elegant, intuitive, and designed to keep users engaged longer.

Person working on tablet

Websites — Various industries

Designed websites for four different luxury verticals, bold, modern, and tailored to build trust and guide users seamlessly into the brand world.

03

Understanding the landscape

Understanding the landscape:

I started by analyzing BAROQUE’s business structure and all touchpoints, from agent workflows to customer experiences.

Then I benchmarked international luxury concierge apps, studying UX patterns, user journeys, and engagement tactics.

This gave us a clear map of what worked — and where LUJO could stand out.

"precise, trustworthy, approachable, reliable"

04

Exclusive,

But open

Defining the Vision:

I redefined the user journey to feel exclusive yet welcoming.

Non-members could explore freely before signing up, lowering friction and converting curiosity into action.

"precise, trustworthy, approachable, reliable"

05

Learning from the best

Research & Benchmarking:

We benchmarked leading gold traders and bullion platforms across Dubai, GCC, and global markets.

Most were outdated, overly technical, and visually cluttered.

We saw an opportunity to stand out with simplicity, clarity, and bold storytelling.

"precise, trustworthy, approachable, reliable"

06

Design Solutions

Endless discovery:

I designed an infinite scroll on the home page, inspired by social media behavior.

Users could keep exploring events, restaurants, and luxury items without hitting a wall, boosting engagement and creating a sense of continuous discovery.

Gamified booking:

Booking private jets or yachts can feel intimidating.I turned these flows into joyful, interactive journeys, making the process feel playful, memorable, and more human.

Rich service pages:

I redesigned service pages to include immersive videos, stunning visuals, and layered content. The goal: keep users scrolling, learning, and falling deeper into the LUJO experience.

Effortless onboarding:

I simplified sign-up and sign-in flows.Users could start exploring immediately, and only needed to share details when booking, reducing churn and making the app feel approachable from the start.

07

Results &

Learning

LUJO taught me that luxury and simplicity can coexist beautifully.

When design feels effortless, even the most exclusive experiences become approachable and desirable.

Results:

  • Increased browsing time through endless scroll and immersive content.

  • Reduced early drop-off by allowing non-members to explore first.

  • Strengthened brand perception as modern, premium, and user-focused.
